At the end of 2019 I decided like many people 2020 was going to be a year of change and accomplishments. I always had a dream to become a web developer. So in January I ended my time as a program director. I moved to Dallas and attended DevMountain (a full stack coding bootcamp). Before arriving I had no coding experience. To be honest I thought about leaving the first week, and every week after. But I stayed committed. I meet a lot of great people. I worked 8am - 12pm every day, sometimes later and even on weekends. I feel in love with programming. After 9 weeks the world shut down due to COVID. The bootcamp went remote and I went back home, and back to work. After helping my family get back on their feet I decided that a pandemic was not reason enough to give up on my goals. I continued to study at home and build my skill set. I have learned so much during 2020, about programming and about myself. If you like to hear more about my story or what I did before 2020 send me an email.
